This is a role for someone who stays calm under pressure, builds trust quickly, and knows that progress doesn’t always look the same for every child.
What your days will look like
Supporting children in Early Years with complex needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
Helping children feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn
Using consistency, kindness, and clear boundaries to support behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team to adapt learning and routines
