Position Overview

Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities This position is part of the Pathways Internship Program and is located in the Recreation Department at an institution within the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Observes and provides assistance to the Recreation Supervisor / Supervisor of Education and the other recreation specialists in planning, organizing, advising on and administering recreation activities and programs which promote physical, creative and social development. Assists with developing and managing leisure-time and wellness activities, including hobby craft classes under, the Supervisor of Recreation / Supervisor of Education.
