Doctoral Researcher in the Multiobjective Optimization Group

The University of Jyväskylä (JYU) is a nationally and internationally recognised research university specialising in human and natural sciences. The Faculty of Information Technology invites applications for a doctoral researcher to join the Multiobjective Optimization Group within the multidisciplinary INDENSYS research project.

The employment period starts on 1 September 2026 (or other agreed date) and continues until the end of the project on 31 December 2029.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high‑quality research in multiobjective optimisation involving uncertainty modelling, explainability and risk analysis.
  • Publish research results in international peer‑reviewed journals.
