The University of Leicester is a world‑changing research institution, recently awarded a Gold rating in the 2023 TEF and named the Daily Mail University of the Year 2025. We are seeking a Director of External Relations to deliver strategic leadership of all external relations activities, including marketing, communications, admissions, domestic student recruitment and the Attenborough Arts Centre. The role involves developing and executing an integrated strategy that strengthens the University’s brand and student recruitment performance, building on recent successes and the refreshed corporate strategy for growth. Responsibilities include working with Professional Services colleagues and the Colleges to drive sector‑leading domestic recruitment activity and meet five‑year student targets in a globally competitive market.
