Position Summary:
Provides direction and oversight of library services. Work with faculty and staff to support the current usage and future planning for the library program. First-level manager. Manages the activities of supervisors and/or individual contributors. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited graduate program.7 years of library experience.Four years of professional experience in an academic library that demonstrates a broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications:
