**Description:** As a member of the Aeronautics Communications leadership team, this role supports Aeronautics-wide communications initiatives to shape the employee and customer experience and supporting “back room” operations for the full Communications team.
• Leads the Employee and Executive Communications team. This team serves as trusted advisors to executive leadership team leaders and develops and executes communication strategies and plans supporting business initiatives and goals.
• Leads the Social Impact team. This team develops key community partnerships aligned to corporate social impact strategies, manages a grants and sponsorship budget, creates and supports employee volunteer opportunities, and manages the company’s Employee Emergency Aid Fund (AeroCARES).
• Leads the Protocol and Events team. This team works with senior leaders and customers to plan and execute visits, business meetings and large-scale events.
