The Manhattan Nursing Home of The New Jewish Home (TNJH) is seeking a Director of Clinical Resource Systems/HIM to join out team! This position will sit in 120 West, 106th Street in the Upper, West side of Manhattan.

JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Resource Systems/HIM is responsible for the integrity of paper and electronic patient data throughout The New Jewish Home.

REPORTS TO: Nursing Home Administrators and collaborates with all programs in TNJH.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Ensures that patient records are maintained in an organized, accurate, comprehensive and secure fashion.

+ In collaboration with administration, responsible for reporting issues to our insurance carrier through their online portal.

+ Ensures that records of discharged patients are complete and maintained according to facility policy and DOH regulation.
