Summary The ALP Dietitian conducts comprehensive nutrition assessments for Veterans using the Nutrition Care Process assuring high-quality nutrition care. The ALP Dietitian is subject matter expert in advanced geriatric clinical nutrition and uses knowledge, expertise, principles and current research to lead dietitians and nutrition specialty care teams to plan, implement, and evaluate organizational initiatives. The ALP Dietitian will support Veterans in the Home-Based Primary Care program. Responsibilities Major Duties of the Advanced Level Practice Dietitian include but are not limited to: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for Veterans using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) assuring high-quality nutrition care under an advanced and expanded scope of practice.
