**Position Overview:**

A task oriented person performing food preparation, serving, and storage functions. Cleaning and storage of food service equipment. Communicates closely with the dietary clerks and Department Director. Must be comfortable with patient interactions including meal delivery in a healthcare setting.

**EDUCATION**

+ HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:**

+ Previous food service

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

+ Basic food production and food service knowledge with ability to use various food service supplies and equipment.
+ Knowledge of maintaining a safe food environment including proper cleaning procedures and usage of equipment.
