Diesel Mechanic – Job Description

Essel is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in a variety of vehicles and equipment. A strong understanding of diesel technology, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:


+ Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines as well as other mechanical components.

+ Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, ignition systems, transmissions, and electrical components.

+ Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and general vehicle overhaul.

+ Maintain and update service records for vehicles and equipment.

+ Replace or repair defective parts and components, ensuring quality standards are met.
