Position Overview
Minimum requirements for the role: - Must have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Must be a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a valid Red Seal Trade Certificate
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience as a Mechanic
- Proven experience working on tractors, farm implements, trucks, and earth-moving equipment
- Valid drivers licence (PDP will be an advantage) and own reliable transport
- Good communications skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing on tractors, farm implements, trucks, and earth-moving machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on diesel-powered equipment.
