Stormwater Engineer – Water Team

Responsibilities

• Design and develop effective stormwater management solutions for various projects, including transport (roads and rail), land and water infrastructure projects in New Zealand.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess stormwater flows and system performance.
• Develop low‑impact stormwater designs.
• Collaborate across disciplines internally to address technical queries and drive an optimum engineering solution.
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant legislation, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, design specifications, and documentation for project submissions and regulatory approvals.
• Undertake site investigations, data analysis, and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
