Resideo is currently seeking a senior DFM (Design For Manufacturing) engineer to work with factory and engineering team to ensure the engineering product design can meet factory DFM and DFT requirements.
You should have solid product DFM checking experience, a strong background in manufacturing processes, good factory test knowledge and excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
Job duties - Responsible to review BOMs and design PCB panels, using Valor NPI tool, checking DFM & DFT issues on each PCB design with engineering team and factory.
- Manage Valor NPI and other manufacturing tools, such as tool and library upgrades.
- Cooperate with Resideo factory and OEM factory regularly to design, develop and maintain PCBA and Assembly DFM and DFT procedures and checklists to guide engineering team product design, ensuring factory manufacturing requirements are met.
