Senior Java Backend Developer (Microservices)
Summary
We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Java Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud‑native microservices that power mission‑critical products. You will leverage Java 17, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB to deliver resilient, observable, and secure services on OCP (OpenShift) and/or GCP, employing BDD for quality and Splunk for operational insights. Strong fundamentals in OO design, design patterns, and system design are essential.
Responsibilities
Design & implement high‑throughput, low‑latency microservices with Spring Boot (REST/gRPC), applying DDD, hexagonal/clean architecture, and proven design patterns (Builder, Strategy, Factory, Circuit Breaker, Saga/Outbox, etc.).
Build event‑driven workflows with Kafka (topics, partitions, consumer groups, idempotency, dead‑letter strategies, schema evolution with Avro/Protobuf).
