GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible to the Provost for coordinating the development, evaluation, and supervision of all programs and credit instruction in the Fine and Performing Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Legal Studies. Responsible for the evaluation of directors and/or teaching faculty, other professional staff and Civil Service employees within the unit. Supervises the administration of the collective bargaining agreement between the College and the Genesee Educational Association within his/her unit. Represents to the Provost the concerns and interests of the area faculty and directors on matters related to curriculum, instruction, and the deployment of resources. Collaborates with associates in all campus locations in promoting and maintaining the one college concept.
