Overview

A DCS Instrumentation Engineer with a strong background in ABB DCS and SCADA systems for sewage treatment plant (STP) operations. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for process control instrumentation asset reliability and industrial communications, focusing on maintaining the health of Profibus DP, PA networks.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for process control instrumentation asset reliability and industrial communications.
• Administer, operate, and optimize ABB DCS, including control strategies, graphics, alarms, trends, historian tags, and backup/restore.
• Maintain and enhance SCADA interfaces, dashboards, and reporting for O&M and compliance KPIs.
• Develop, test, and implement logic modifications, loop tuning, interlocks, permissives, and sequences under strict MOC procedures.
• Manage alarm rationalization and limit settings to reduce nuisance alarms and improve operator effectiveness...
