Bauhaus Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering works within a live data centre environment in Slough.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on long-term projects involving structured cabling installations, network infrastructure upgrades and critical IT environments.
Responsibilities Installation, termination and testing of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and fibre optic cabling.
Installation of containment including basket, tray, trunking and conduit.
Rack building, patching and labelling to customer specifications.
Cable dressing and management within data halls and communications rooms.
Installation and testing of copper and fibre infrastructure.
Reading and interpreting drawings and cable schedules.
