Position Overview
1. Import Operations - Monitor and follow up on import schedules, ensuring timely customs clearance and cargo movement.
- Work closely with customs brokers and shipping agents to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to schedule inbound deliveries and ensure proper cargo handling.
2. Documentation & Compliance - Ensure all import documents (BL, packing lists, invoices, shipping instructions) meet customs and warehouse requirements.
- Check and validate documentation for LME warranting, ensuring stock meets listing and compliance standards.
- Update and maintain import shipment records, ensuring data accuracy for reporting and auditing.
- Monitor and ensure proper lotting of cargo in alignment with storage policies.
3. Warehouse & Logistics Coordination - Coordinate with warehouse operations team with the shipment warehouse space allocation.
