Job Description

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is currently seeking a Crusher Operator for its Laval site, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Reporting to the Automotive Crushing Department Manager, the incumbent is responsible for traveling to various worksites to carry out vehicle carcass crushing activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all handling required for preparing the vehicle carcasses;
• Operate and maneuver a loader;
• Operate the crusher to compact and crush vehicles;
• Load crushed vehicles onto trucks;
• Maintain accurate records;
• Complete the daily activity report;
• Work safely and comply with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures;
• Comply with the Highway Safety Code;
• Ensure proper use and functioning of company equipment;
