Position Overview
Become a Cross Connection Control Program Coordinator with the Regional District of North Okanagan. This regular, full-time position focuses on vital water quality and regulatory compliance efforts within the community.
The successful candidate must have a degree in a related field such as science or engineering, along with a valid BC driver’s license. A minimum of four years of experience in local government or public health is necessary, along with Bylaw Compliance and Investigative Skills Level 1. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce the Cross Connection Control regulatory bylaw
• Identify high-priority inspection sites with field staff
• Manage the administrative aspects of the program
• Report risks associated with water quality
