Position Overview
CCBYS Crisis Worker
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral or social science (social work, sociology, psychology guidance and counseling or closely related discipline). Prior experience as a crisis worker is preferred.
Basic Functions: Responsible for performing crisis duty between the hours of 9am and 5pm; Monday through Friday. Assist in the planning, delivery and administration of the crisis program in accordance with the stated purpose of the Agency; and Provide direct service to clients as needed and appropriate. CCBYS is a program run by DCFS that provides crisis intervention, follow up, and placement (when necessary) to youth between the ages of 11 and 17.
Position Responsibilities:
