Criminology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Behaviour & SEND Support Assistant

Primary school, North London. Full‑time and part‑time contracts available.

We are working with a number of Primary schools across North London seeking caring, confident, and proactive graduates to support pupils aged 4-11 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and behavioural challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND and behavioural needs.
• Assist with classroom management, emotional regulation, and individual learning plans.
• Implement targeted intervention strategies in collaboration with the SENCO and class teacher.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement, independence, and self‑esteem.
• Work closely with external agencies, including CAMHS, therapists, and safeguarding teams, where appropriate.
