Position Overview

Position Summary

The Criminal Justice department at Bellevue College is accepting applications for an Assistant Adjunct Professor¿starting in¿Fall 2026.¿The Assistant Adjunct Professor will teach one course per quarter in person at the Bellevue College campus in collaboration with the Program Chair. Course meet twice per week for either 50 minutes, or twice per week for 1 hour and 50 minutes. In-person courses are taught in a hybrid format (e.g. Monday/Wednesday from 10:30 ¿ 11:20 a.m., Monday/Wednesday 12:30 ¿ 2:20 p.m.).
Depending on qualifications and student enrollment, the instructor may have the option to teach either three in-person courses, or a combination of two in-person courses and one online course. These are temporary faculty positions, typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment.
