The role

The role involves undertaking all aspects of criminal defence work within the firm’s crime department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, providing advice and representation from the police station stage through to proceedings in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts. Responsibilities will include preparing cases thoroughly, drafting legal documentation and ensuring compliance with professional standards and legal aid requirements. The role requires effective case management, the ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment and a commitment to delivering a high standard of client care.
