Position Overview

This position is Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm.

Position Objective:To maintain a constant supply of yarn to the creel. Assist and/or relieve operator as needed and at break times.

EssentialDuties(Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility):

Check lot numbers to ensure that the correct lot is running

Hangandspliceinyarn in creel, i.e. spotting, doubling and cutting back the creel.

Remove exhausted tubes from creel.

Place tube caps on running packages.

Maintain the yarn leveland cleanliness ofthe creel throughout the shift.

Make preparations for boxes and tubes to be removed from creel.

Guide LTO inloadingcasesor boxes.

Remove all tubes of yarn in the creel or work area that appears to be unusable and follow procedures for disposition
