Cover Supervisor – Gateshead

The Education Network is working in partnership with a school based in the Gateshead area that are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their team in September 2026.

Role overview: 
You wouldn't be expected to plan, prepare or teach anything, you would be expected to cover lessons in the absence of a teacher and ensure the class are staying on task with their work, managing the classroom and helping the student's with their work as and when you can. 

Requirements for this role:

Experience of working with children/young people within the past 2 years that we can seek a professional reference from
Have a valid fully enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or a willingness to apply for one 
Passionate about education and passionate about helping our North East children ...
