Position Overview

Court Victim Advisor Te Haeata

This is a permanent, full‑time position based at the Manukau District Court. It is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and adaptable person with specialist knowledge, skills and experience to assist victims of crime through the court process. You will keep victims updated on the progress of their case and help them participate effectively in the Criminal Justice System.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate resilience when working with people
  • Maintain a calm nature and relate effectively to people
  • Enjoy the challenges of working with stakeholders and victims affected by serious crime, primarily family violence
  • Keep victims updated on case progress and facilitate their participation in the Criminal Justice System
