Role Purpose:

To provide accurate cost estimation for MEP equipment and on‑site installation activities from an owner's perspective. This role supports procurement decisions, budget control, and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for direct supply items (transformers, UPS, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, etc.) including equipment, freight, taxes, and delivery.
• For Installation Costing: Estimate on-site labor rates, subcontractor expenses, productivity factors, and installation efficiency for data centre fit‑out.
• Benchmark costs against industry standards, historical data, and market intelligence.
• Support value engineering exercises by comparing alternative designs/materials.
• Work with procurement to validate supplier quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
