JOB SUMMARY:
Under the close supervision of the Finance Division Manager, provides broad administrative and clerical support in the accounting department helping out in capturing data, generating reports and coordinating with other work units within the department for better work efficiency.
- Collects and analyzes financial data (inventory, labor) to calculate the actual Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Compares budgeted/standard costs with actual expenses to identify discrepancies and investigates inefficiencies.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc reports on production costs, inventory valuations, and cost drivers for management.
