Assist the Controller with the month-end close and other accounting functionsMaintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and perform month end reconciliationsAnalyze accounts and perform reconciliations, setting up new accounts in the GL as neededEnsure financial records are accurate, organized, and supported by proper documentationRecommend and implement internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiencyProvide accounting schedules and supporting documentation to the external auditorsCollaborate with the IT team regarding system enhancements, ensuring proper data flow
