We have been assigned by one of the UK's most prestigious NHS Trusts to help recruit a Consultant in Emergency Medicine on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful A&E department.

Department Overview

The department includes a fully equipped resuscitation room with three bays, high and low acuity majors treatment areas with nine and ten cubicles, a separate hot area with 6 beds, and a minors area. There is a dedicated seminar room with modern presentation aids. The department is undergoing a rebuild, expected to be completed in 2022, which will include 8 resuscitation bays and a separate children's ED with a co-located paediatric assessment area. Facilities also include a fully equipped theatre, ENT and Ophthalmic units, and dedicated examination and waiting rooms for children.
