About the Role

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Whanganui has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full/part-time (up to 1 FTE) role commencing as soon as possible.

In this role, you will provide a high standard of clinical expertise in the specialist assessment and management of older patients, contributing to the provision of efficient and effective medical services to the community and region served by the Te Whatu Ora-Whanganui. An interest in stroke, movement disorders and orthogeriatric liaison is encouraged.

Whanganui Hospital is located on the West coast of New Zealand’s North Island with a wide range of services including emergency medicine, general medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, O&G, ENT, ophthalmology, dentistry, and psychiatry.
