Oxford Solutions is working with a retail client to hire a Junior Computer Operator for a fully remote contract role (EST hours).



This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career to gain hands-on experience in production support and system operations.



Training will take place (M-F daylight). After training, must be flexible to work any shift to ensure 24/7/365 coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and execute scheduled jobs and automated processes


• Respond to system alerts and troubleshoot routine issues using established procedures


• Escalate incidents when needed and document all actions in ITSM tools


• Support basic service requests and meet defined service levels


• Follow change control processes and assist with low-risk updates


• Use scheduling tools, ticketing systems, and internal documentation to support operations
