Composite Finishing Technician 

Job Summary: 

Composite Finishing Technician are responsible for preparing and assembling precision composite and machined components, ensuring parts meet strict quality, safety, and cosmetic standards. This includes deburring, sanding, polishing, bonding, and assembly of composite materials and machined parts. The role requires attention to detail, strong collaboration, and adherence to customer and industry specifications. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 
+ Follow all shop safety requirements, company policies, and work order instructions. 
+ Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, flaws, or finish quality using visual checks and measuring tools. 
+ Remove burrs and smooth surfaces using hand tools (files, scrapers), powered tools (grinders, sanders), or specialized deburring equipment. 
+ Configure, assemble, and bond raw composite materials and components according to specifications.
