Position Overview
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on obtaining ACCC clearance for mergers, acquisitions and a range of commercial transactions.Act for clients in ACCC investigations and enforcement actions involving cartel conduct, misuse of market power, misleading or deceptive conduct and other alleged anti-competitive behaviour.Handle competition and consumer-related litigation and disputes between competitors, suppliers and consumers, including pursuing negotiated and strategic outcomes outside formal court processes.Counsel clients on transaction structures, marketing and advertising strategies, product recalls and the design and implementation of internal compliance frameworks.Work closely with partners and senior lawyers, taking ownership of files and managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy and supervision.
