POSITION SUMMARY

Provides first line of health
care in the village clinic setting under the guidance of the Clinic Supervisor,
higher level certified CHA, and CHP C/I. Must be readily available to attend
the training requirements to advance to a level CHA-I. Must work within scope
of practice and cannot exceed the level of training completed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Works scheduled hours in clinic as arranged by Clinic
Supervisor and/or CHAP Administration.

2.Must complete training requirements for the following:
Community Health Aide Manual (CHAM) training, Pre-Session, and ETT or EMT
training prior to being scheduled for health aide session training.

3.After successful completion of Pre-Session can obtain
vital signs for higher level CHA’s and/or the Medical Staff providers.
