Position Overview
Summary This position is located in the the office of the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary (PDAS) and Director of the Diplomatic Security Service (DS/DSS), Department of State. As the law enforcement and security arm of the Department of State, DSS serves as the focal point for intradepartmental and external communication on all law enforcement and security issues related to the bureau's equities in the United States and abroad. Responsibilities Plans and develops strategic marketing plans for high priority official written statements, Department presentations, and articles regarding international law enforcement and security issues. Develops and maintains strategic relationships with media stakeholders to facilitate communication and understanding regarding DSS's law enforcement and security issues.
