Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Location: South Hill, VA (on-site; 50% office / 50% field)
Compensation: $85,000–$125,000 base (depending on experience/interview)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, around 7:00am–3:00pm for field support; office hours are flexible. Workload fluctuates with construction (average 40–50 hours/week).
Overview
We are hiring a Commissioning Engineer to support multiple active projects with additional work ramping up later this year. This role focuses on final testing, startup, commissioning, analysis, and troubleshooting of low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment in both field and manufacturing environments. Travel may be required (local/regional/national based on project needs).
What you’ll do

+ Perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of electrical distribution equipment (breakers, transformers, switches, switchgear, relays, MCCs, UPS, power monitoring systems, etc.)
