Position Overview

Job Description

  • Oversee production and baking of breads, croissants, and other viennoiseries.
  • Ensure consistent quality, texture, and flavor of bakery items.
  • Organize daily mise en place and ensure all items are ready for service.
  • Train, guide, and monitor junior staff and commis assigned to the bakery section.
  • Ensure baking schedules are met and stock levels maintained.
  • Collaborate with Head Baker on new recipe development and seasonal updates.
  • Adhere to hygiene standards, cleaning schedules, and food safety regulations.
  • Monitor wastage and contribute to cost control through efficient practices.
  • Operate ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment with care and responsibility.
  • Work closely with front-of-house teams for timely and fresh product availability.
