Service Service is recruiting for a Commercial Vehicle Design Engineer on behalf of a specialist engineering manufacturer based in Droitwich. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business involved in the design and development of bespoke recovery vehicles.

The Role

* Design and develop mechanical systems and structures for commercial and recovery vehicles

* Produce 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor

* Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD

* Support fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective

* Carry out basic engineering calculations relating to load capacity and material selection

* Maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and drawing revisions

* Support continuous improvement of existing designs
