Position Overview
- Growing, A-rated regional carrier is looking for a Sr. Underwriter to join their team in a new startup division.
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience. Multi-line E&S non-admitted experience is a must. Will meet with agents to discuss their needs and tell them about your products; you must be comfortable with frequent travel throughout the Midwest.
- Help mentor junior underwriters. Evaluate risks and recommend risk improvements; work with CAT and high-exposure risks. Set pricing and coverage terms. Help secure reinsurance markets.
