POSITION DESCRIPTION:

+ Maintains order on campus and be able to provide safety at all campuses, 24/7.

+ Performs security work, fire prevention; emergency management and law enforcement and crime prevention duties.

+ Patrols buildings, grounds and parking areas on foot or in a patrol vehicle to maintain order, protect persons and property, control traffic, provide first aid and to prevent trespassing, theft or damage.

+ Investigates complaints made directly to Public Safety-SCCC or assigned investigations from the administration.

+ Enforces the laws of the State of New York and federal higher education laws by assisting law enforcement by providing them with reports/information on incidents
