What we're looking for

Carbon13 is inviting scientists, engineers and inventors to become co‑founders of climate‑change startups through our eight‑month Venture Builder, which begins in late October.

Whether or not you already have a startup idea, you will find a co‑founder, develop a solution, and launch an investable company aimed at reducing emissions by millions of tonnes.

Program Overview

The program includes a cohort of over 80 founders from science, industry, and sustainability backgrounds. You will receive deep carbon‑knowledge training, mentorship from 400+ domain specialists, and support to build a VC‑ready business.

The format is 80% remote with nine in‑person days in Berlin.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify or develop a climate‑impact idea.
• Create and grow a founding team.
• Validate the technology and market.
• Prepare investor materials and secure initial funding.
