Position Overview
Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
5+ years COBOL development experience (recent, hands-on)
Strong experience in mainframe environments (IBM z/OS)
Proven experience with: COBOL / ACUCOBOL Experience:
Experience working on Employee benefits, retirement funds, core transactional systems (banking, insurance, policy admin, payments)
Ability to analyse, maintain, and enhance existing legacy codebases and have strong troubleshooting and production support experience Highly Advantageous:
Batch processing and high-volume transaction systems Exposure to:
Modernisation/integration projects (API, .NET, Java, cloud)
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
