We are recruiting for a permanent CNC Turner (Setter Operator) for a global precision engineering company based in Christchurch, Dorset.
Salary is £19 to £22 per hour depending on experience.
37 hours per week Monday to Friday
Main CNC Turner duties and responsibilities:
To correctly set the CNC machine and tooling and to operate CNC machines to process the part to the required specificationsTo machine parts to agreed specifications and to customer requirements using detailed drawings, layouts and other technical information providedTo ensure machines are fit for purpose by performing routine maintenance according to approved methodsCarry out inspection, including first-off inspection using gauges and measuring instrumentsTo ensure the work area conforms to the company 5S standards by returning tooling to specified storage areas and to remove waste appropriately Job Title: CNC Turner
