Position Overview
CNC Turn-Mill Machinist
- Direct Hire – 1st shift
- Schenectady, NY
- $30-$40 per hour
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turn-mill machines
- Work with 4-axis lathes and live tooling
- Operate vertical turret lathes (VTLs) with milling capabilities
- Operate horizontal 4-axis (HTL’s) turn-mill lathes
- Perform milling, drilling, tapping, and contouring on CNC lathes
- Program and edit machines using G-code
- Create and modify programs using CAD/CAM software
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Select tooling and set offsets
