• CNC Machinist  Reports to: CNC Foreman/Shop Foreman  Supervisory responsibilities: None.  Summary/objective: Specialty Tooling Systems (STS) is looking to add a CNC Machinist to their night shift team.


• The CNC Machinist will be responsible for running the Okuma Bridge Mill.

In general, the CNC Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine  Essential functions:

•   Download programs and MDI (Manual Data Input) as needed.  Ability to perform your own programming and running your details.  Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances required.  Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results.  Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration.  Keep work area clean.  Follow all safety rules and report un...
