Role Summary

We're looking for a cloud efficiency engineer to join the team. This is a hands-on specialist role: you'll bring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure cost optimization and apply it directly to implementing multi-million-dollar efficiency gains across one of the world's largest Kubernetes fleets.

You'll work alongside senior engineers and a data scientist who identify and prioritise opportunities. Your job is to take those opportunities and make them real - digging into GCP configurations, workload profiles, and Kubernetes resource settings to implement changes that reduce cost while maintaining performance and reliability. You bring the specialist knowledge that makes the difference between a safe 30% rightsizing and an aggressive one that pages on-call at 3am.
