Clinical Respiratory Consultant – Peterborough, ON (232) – Respiratory therapy

Responsibilities

• Conduct full respiratory assessments to meet the client's goals and needs, ensuring quality care. Includes evaluating test results, delivering necessary equipment and supplies, and determining therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and care teams.
• Initiate and manage CPAP therapy as prescribed, providing education and instructions on equipment use and maintenance and selecting the best facial interface for long‑term CPAP or bilevel treatment.
• Conduct appointments and set up equipment for sleep diagnostic testing in accordance with American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines.
• Provide regular follow‑up to clients to assess treatment effects, comfort, and compliance, recommending adjustments as necessary.
