Job Description
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist is accountable to the Administrative Director of the laboratory or a laboratory supervisor. The CLS-G will work cooperatively in conjunction with the Laboratory Director, Lab Supervisors, Pathologists and fellow employees in order to assure high quality laboratory services for all age groups from infants to geriatric.
Responsibilities
TECHNICAL TASKS Performs all high complexity procedures in all areas of the clinical laboratory that require the exercise of independent judgement and con assist in the blood bank. Completes all work according to policy and procedure. Able to operate all laboratory equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Assures that all specimens are properly identified and of acceptable condition for accurate results.
